Redline in tranny...

I've heard from someone that a to slipery oil in the tranny can be bad for it... what do you think?

I run Redline MTL in my transmission... not a problem so far.

i have ran it in my tranny for 3 years with no problems. Make sure you buy MTL and you will be fine.

I recently picked up a slightly used dirt bike (KDX 220). It had no owners manual, so I asked the guy at the M/C store what to put in the tranny. Usually they take 30w, just like a car's manual transmission. He said 80 to 90w BelRay gear oil. I told him he was full of it, so he took me out back to the shop, and they all agreed. They said it was the best stuff for clutch-less shifting.
Anybody out there hear of using this stuff?
